Because it has so much to offer for any student, not just the gifted. It's an outstanding high school. We have many Merit Scholars from our school each year!

Yes there are some smart kids but the kids are spoiled and overprivelaged and they think there great when there average. The teachers are ok some tend to let the kids do what they want but thats school. As for sports absolutly horrid.

Yes there maybe some short comings As a parent of 2 grad sons and a real estate broker living in Short Hills for over 35 years I have concluded....... The schools have made the town great. That's why people have been fighting to get in as long as I can remember.
AP classes at Millburn are very limited by the number of spaces available. The kids are tested to be allocated a place. Many more qualified kids than space in the AP class exist. Kids who are not favored have to study privately at great expense. Kids who move into the district after 6th grade are particularly disadvantaged by the school district's policy of honors class administration. Beware.
