The principal is a little too concerned with the test scores and test-taking, as opposed to overall learning experience. I know the children are all well-behaved here, but that is mostly due to the good upbringing the majority of these above-middle income class families have.
This school is the best my children have attended. The teachers are wonderful and innovative. There are lots of enrichment opportunities above and beyond the great art and music programs. It is easy for the parents to get involved with volunteering and school family events. I find the office staff to be very friendly and helpful while still questioning strangers for safety. Student learning is given top priority and my two children who attend this school are immensely happy. They also enjoy learning at school and adjusted easily. As a military family we have moved a lot and attended 3 different elementary schools. Pebble Creek is by far the very best.
My daughter has been attending Pebble Creek since kindergarten, and couldn't be happier. I feel we have a caring staff that goes out of their way to make learning not only fun for our kids but will help them when we leave elementary and enter middle school. Our music teacher does a wonderful job at teaching the whole (606 students) words to at least 50 songs a year. Our parents are wonderfully envolved in all aspects of our curriculum. I could not have asked for a more wonderful start to my daughters future than the teachers and staff at Pebble Creek. We will miss them all as we continue her trip to higher learning. The Principal of our school is a very bright ,caring woman who deserves more credit than she is given. Overall Pebble Creek is an outstanding school with outstanding people.
