The school is a great school. The teachers cares about there student learning. But I wish it was just 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.
i just graduated from francis jhs this year[8th grade;2007]. i learned a lot of things necessary for the next on-coming school year. we were actually advanced. instead of doing pre-algebra, we were actually doing geometry and algebra 1. the only problem with the school is that the school's condition and is need of serious funding. the school also needs funding for an art and musci program to expand the students' mind. even though i thought it was going to be a bad school because it was a public school in the beginning, i learned that francis jhs is a very good school and i have made a lot of good friends there. i am very sad that this was my last year there though. mrs. crutchfield and mrs. hill did a great job at running this school despite the poor funding. they did the best that they could.
I just graduated from this School. When i had first gone to the school the only thing that had students involved with anything was two programs Best friends for girls and Best Men for the Boys. There is nothing wrong with the pricipal. She just has zero tolorance level. the security is just fine. im just saying there is nothing for us to do. over the years they got rid of volleyball,track,softftball,and we had no art,no choir,no extra curricular Activties whats so ever. they only have Basketball that we hold the title as number one in the district. but over all the school is not a school i enjoyed going to. Francis has alot to fix and i feel that there will be a need of fixing. i just think you need to ask the kids cause we are the ones who have to go there everyday.
