We have attended SHCS for 4 years now. It is an amazing community. Everyone pitches in and is involved. There is a growing sense of community and fellowship. The principal is very concerned about YOUR child and is willing to talk at any time. Also, the teachers are extremely dedicated. They view their jobs as a ministry rather than a job. They are there to give our children the best start in life they can receive and defiintely teach for the child.

St. Helen Catholic School is the best thing a parent can ask for in their child's education. St. Helen not only allows a child to learn more but to go deeper into the Catholic faith. At this school teachers do not only teach what is in the book, but much more. This school does not just prepare a student for high school and college, it also prepares them for life. Standards are much higher here than you would find at any public school, and students are expected to perform to the best of their abilities. The new principal is tremendous, and dedicated to improving the school in anyway she can for the benefit of every student's education. As an eighth grade student, and after attending for six years, I am proud to say I attend such a great school.

Our daughter has been at St. Helens for 6 years. Prior to attending, she was enrolled at a prepatory school. We have been very happy with the quality of her education. When she interacts with other childen that do not attend the school you can tell that the quality of her education is far above their level. The teachers challenge my child to go above and beyond. No matter the education provided it is the student's dedication that is the ultimate driving force. However, it is the teachers, that nurture and build that level of dedication. At St. Helens the dedication of the teachers is unsurpassed. Walquiria Sanchez, parent

I love St. Helen Catholic school, despite some of the previous entries. The Junior high may not be at the level of other schools yet, but keep in mind there has only been a complete junior high for one year, and even then there were only about thirty students. As the school has continued to grow they have consistently added more programs and activities for the students, parents, and teachers. The academics are great because the teachers are showing you life-long skills that you will need to know for high school and college; like note-taking. The principal is amazing, and you can tell that she truly cares about the well-being of the students because you see her actively involved in the school every day. She is also optomistic, and is constantly looking to the future. All in all, Saint Helens has a wonderful Christian atmosphere and is an excellent school.
