My daughter has been a student at Grace for 7 years. We had planned to transfer her from their preschool, to public kindergarten. We were so impressed with the staff that we had no choice but to keep her at Grace. (I have spoken to other parents who had the same experience). My child's happiness is the most important thing to me. I am aware that public schools teach to the test. If their scores are higher, so be it. Success in life is not just measured by test scores. The support and caring my child receives at Grace will contribute to her happiness for years to come. We feel that children need to be children. Putting undue pressure on them to increase a schools test scores does not make for a content and well rounded adult.
I think it is very worth while to take the time and give you, not my opion, but my experience at Grace. My son has been been in the Grace school system since he was 2 years old. He was at site 1. He is now in 5th grade. I would not change our decision for the world. He has found his passion in Music, which he would never have had that opportunity in a public school in OC. He has his own relationship with God, not the one I have. Every school, is going to have it's issue's. We have had ours. The staff have always loved and encouraged him. They have always supported us, the parents. So... in conclusion, I would like to say, if you want a safe, loving, strong academic positive place to send the loves of your life, Grace Luthern School is the place.

Is a strong curriculum important to you? Do you like having your child learn how to problem solve? Are you interested in your child feeling loved? Is it encouraging to you to be a part of a community that is a faith based environment? If so, then check out Grace Lutheran. My daughter has been at Site II since it opened and I am proud and sad that this will be her last year. During that time, she has been exposed to amazing teachers with a caliber of love and knowledge that encapsulates the best parts of the teaching profession. She has been loved but not coddled, she has been corrected but not broken. By the way, so has the whole family.

My oldest daughter has attened Grace since Pre-K and is now in the fourth grade. My youngest just started kindergarten at Grace. Our family could not be happier with the school. The administrators, teachers, aides, and parents are among the best. Everyone is so supportive and the environment is as good as it gets in providing the children a safe and happy place to learn. Grace philosophy is 'teaching the whole child'. We have seen this in the development of our children. Academically, spiritually, and emotionally; I feel very blessed and fortunate that I am able to provide the opportunity for my children to grow up in such a well rounded environment.
