Niwot Elementary, a John Irwin winner in 2006 and 2005, received the award for the third time-it is one of the top performing schools in Colorado (top 8%).

Niwot Elementary is a fantastic school with extremely caring professionals on staff. The CSAP scores rank near the top of the State, and in my opinion is comparable to Peak to Peak, one of the top public funded schools in America. I do hope that the funding improves, but you couldn't expect your student to learn more anywhere else, public or private.

Niwot Elementary is a fantastic small school in this district. The teachers seem very dedicated and I hope they remain as the district is currently facing financial difficulties. Hopefully the school board will uphold their promises to seek additional funding. I would like to see this school attain IB standing in the near future.
