I am a seventh grader at Five Forks and I absolutely love it here! All of my teachers this year have been AMAZING and even the staff members all around are a joy. I am going to have a hard time leaving when I end eigth grade and move on to Brookwood. If you're looking for a middle school, Five Forks is your best choice.

This is my first year as a sixth-grader at FFMS ,and so far I really enjoy it.The PROBE classes really challenge me to think hard.My grades have gone up a lot since 5th grade, which means I've made an improvement. My favorite part is everyones sense of humor:including teachers, friends, and the staff. Go Broncos!!!!!

I am so sad for my child having to miss out on some of the most important memoties and events of Middle School because Five Forks simply doesn't have it to offer. There are no Dances, no class trips, no Cap and Gown Graduation, no class rings, no Science Fairs. No debate teams, no real foreign language classes (only a mini intro spanish course for some kids), Beta club is only for 8th graders, There is no sports like you see at most other schools: no soccer, no in school football team, no tennis, no volleyball, no cross country, no golf, no swimming, no track, no wrestling. Only basketball for 8th grade. This is pathetic for it being a pretty wealthy area. As you can see there is not much going on for the students here. Even the student council is chosen by teachers...kids can't campaign. Check out other schools first!!

My high-achieiving (99% nationally), motivated, emotionally-stable, and promising student asked to be removed and put somewhere so his 'education would be taken seriously'. Our parental involvment with our children pales to none. My child had to deal with bullying at every turn, with very little help from the administration and a non-challenging curriculum. My child was appauled at the amount of violence, drug involvement, sexual harassment and was distressed at the lack of assistance from the administration. The band is a good program. The insights a parent gains form reading he reviews on Great Schools is a wonderful tool to decide what choices you want to make concerning your childs educational experience. The parents that take the time to use this resource are parents that honestly care enough to share to help other parents. This school does not live up to the hype parents in the area are fed.
