This school is not great at all. I have 3 children who attend this school and it is always something. The staff has an attitude on a daily basis. And I'm a parent who is very involve in my children's education. The staff our rude especially the staff member's in the office. They don't won't parents to go and see what is going on in class to see how your childs is learning. Everytime you try to go to a teacher's class room to find out about your child some office staff member always stops you and tell you that you will be interfearing with class time which is not true at all. As a parent you are suppose to be able to pop in and know if your children are really learning. The principal is a joke and dosen't care about the children just her paycheck. Not a good school.
I have 2 kids at this school . I love it. i think the teachers are wonderful and very nice. Everyone is is involve and takes time to talk with you about your kids.I only have one little problem with the school is this I had a older child go to this school and move on to Ludington and I realize that they do not prepare the kids enough to move on to a good middle not just these below average middle school. They just baby the older kids to much. just baby the the older kids a little to much.
Clearly one of the best Elementary Schools in the city of Detroit. My hats off to the principle and her dedicated staff. Robinson Family.
