This school lacks a great administration! The assistant principal drops the ball in doing his job every year. He is not consistent with discipline;thus, there is confusion among the students on what the consequences of their behavior will be. For the most part, the teachers are there and doing the best they can. The worst problem is the lack of parental involvement. Of course, these kids would rather not have their parents hanging around, but parents coming in and out would help the students perform better academically due to a forged relationship with the students' teachers. It might also cut down on discipline problems when children know that a parent could arrive at any moment. I guess it's not the worst school around, but...

I feel my child is happy, and well taken care of in this school. She shows great improvement from her previous school district and seems to enjoy all aspects of her newer environment.

This school, like all schools, has its pluses and minuses. The school does lack its share of teachers who use creative means to motivate students, but most of the teachers are very caring and do the best they can. They try to stay on top of any drug problems, and they reach out to students who need help. I know discipline problems are dealt with in a way that students understand what is and is not acceptable. Joe Carpenter, the Assistant Principal, keeps order in the school, and I appreciate that. My child and all others there attend a safe school, where they can learn and grow. They may not become Einsteins in the process; but for the most part, the students are happy. If the child wants to learn it, he can and will.
