I am a Junior at SMCHS and I absolutely love it. All of the teachers support and help me when I need it. The community allows me involved in many clubs and extra curriculars. We have a lot of school spirit and our Student Government really helps and is important to the school. Our arts program is amazing with our theater department producing amazing performances as well as dance, choir, and band. I would recommend this school to anyone.
St. Mary's brilliantly strives to educate the 'whole person,' and does so with wisdom and grace. Its community is marked by love and respect.
St. Mary's is a welcoming and nurturing institution. Its academics and curriculum is highly competitive and challenging. The teachers and staff have the best interests of the student population and encourage and foster learning in all individual pupils. Their athletic program, visual arts program, and other curricular programs are of the highest caliber. Our children are excelling in all subject areas, continually making the Honor Roll, maintaining high GPAs, while contributing and being involved in other curricular campus events as well as learning to help the community and church. This college prep. high school is considered one of the best in the East Bay. It welcomes all students from different walks of life, whether they're financially-challenged and so forth, as long as the student(s) has potential for learning, is productive and is willing to contribute honestly through hard work. These are the facts and they are undisputed.
