Great school; involved parents; access to GT programming at early ages. Caring and committed teaching staff. PE and outdoor activities.

I have a kindergartner at Lois Lenski Elementary. This is a school with many high achieving children and extremely high parental involvement. Excellent music and art classes in curriculum. Many extra-curricular activites available like Spanish, Geography Club, Science, Art, etc. One huge disappointment is class size. Although they promote a 19:1 ratio, there are 26 kids in my son's kindergarten class with one teacher, and no aide. Class sizes of 25+ are the norm. The individual attention is not there, but somehow test scores are the highest in the district. Most parents and children are happy with the school despite large class sizes.

The quality of academic programs is superior. The teachers are highly educated, and they create a great learning environment for children. A sense of commorodory and sensitivity is taught to students. Before and after-school programs are abundant, providing opportunities to fulfill your child's full potential.

Excellent school choice! It's big for an elementary school, but that allows additional resources to be available for all types of learners. Incredible parent support in and out of classrooms. Great extra-curricular options. They teach to students abililities, challenging students with extra projects or advanced grade levels when needed. Teacher turnover is low, and kids come from out of district, just to attend Lenski. Super school!
