Great school!! I moved to the area after Hurricane Katrina and Carver got my kids in school and got them back on task. Excellent teachers and admin staff...
Carver is a school that has childern with great potential. BUT the overall truth is the school needs HELP. There are a lot of things that go on at that school that need to be addressed by officials. It is that simple. This is not ALL of the officials fault, but still something needs to be done about this school. I do not mean to sound so urgent or pushy about this,but problems at the school need to be dealt with and not swept under a rug. There are a lot of good things about the school as well, but the students who do the right thing are not rewarded like I believe they should because so much time is spent on delinquents.
