Lanier Middle School

As a parent who has sent two kids through Lanier, (my last is an 8th grader this year), you could not find a better school for a caring staff, excellent administration and great learning environment. With the opening of NGMS, this school has gotten even better with the smaller classrooms and less stressed staff. The students are thriving as the classrooms are able to be more interactive. The students themselves are able to get more involved and make a difference because of the smaller size. Look for the Longhorns to be another shining example of excellent academics, parent involvement and student success in the Gwinnett County Schools.

This is the best school. Very high in technology, by that I mean that Lanier Middle has so much technology. It's probably one of the most high-tech schools in Gwinnett County. I love it, it's a great school.

The school is great the teachers focus on every student and show them special attention. Us 8th graders love the new school.

PROS: this is my 3rd year at lanier. the new building is way better than the old one. everyone is inside and that is good. the students are great. you can easily get along with everyone. and you dont have to wear abercrombie to fit in. i have NO abercrombie things and i have a lot of friends. no matter what you are like you will fit in. thats the good thing about this school. CONS: they just installed secruity cameras in the school for no reason. i know they are for our safety, but there have been there for 3 weeks and they're still not on! some people have reputations that arent so good, so you sometimes have to watch your back. and students there are fast to spread rumors that are SO not true. but overall the school is amazing!
