What a gem of a school! Our daughter just completed fourth grade at Ashlawn. It has been her first school experience in the U.S., as we lived in Asia for many years and she attended a private international school there. We have been most impressed with Ashlawn. Mr. Miranda, the principal knows all the children--and most parents-- by name and he has such a great relationship with the students, staff and parents. Our daughter's teachers have been outstanding, and always stretch the kids in their learning. They use a lot of creativity, variety and innovation in the projects they assign, and encourage the students to do the same in their work. Our daughter has had a very positive experience at Ashlawn and is proud of her school. We all look forward to her fifth grade year!

Ashlawn is the best kept little neighborhood secret! Its is an amazing school, filled with wonderful teachers and staff! How lucky we are to live within the Ashlawn community. This school is everything we had hoped for when our boys started elementary school. Go Ashlawn!

This school has everything! It has great teachers, great administrators, great families and a world class curriculum that is reflected in the great schools profiles. Anyone who is lucky enough to live in the Spy Hill area can rest assured that their children will receive the best of all worlds both at Ashlawn and in the community.
