This is my 2nd year for my daughter attending Heritage, and we purposefully picked the area for this specific school. This is the best, if not one of the best elementary schools within the Medina City School district. The teachers are very involved and thoughtful. Parent involvement is encouraged. Programs include music (with strings) and advanced art programs. There are computers galore, with 2 in my daughters classroom and a 32 computer station right outside of it. It is an open school setup, but with the construction of the 2 new elementaries, it has reduced the student load tremendously, and there is more room now.

This is a wonderful, well organized school in a great neighborhood. This is an open concept school which can frighten some people, however, the students don't have a problem with the concept. There is a great deal of parental involvement both during school and after hours. Parents are encouraged to be a part of their child's education by volunteering in the classroom. The teachers are caring, well educated, and excel in their careers. The gifted program is tops. It is well run and challenging. The gifted teacher pulls out identified students, but also teaches lessons to the whole (regular ed) classroom. The music and art programs are spectacular too. Students have many opportunities in this school, as well as the entire Medina City District.
