I have two students who attend this school they are both in Avid and are taking AP and honors classes. I think the staff is wonderful. I would like to see more parent participation for football games especially AWAY games !
DHSHS is a very unusual school when if you want to give it a rating. On the upside, our campus is beautiful and we're first in the Valley when it comes to school spirit. We have very good teachers who do their best every day, and that motivates the students to do their best as well. The only problem I see is that because of the area we are in, there's much gang activity and fights at school are not uncommon at all.
It's a good school. It happens to be a lot better than what most people think. The teachers are amazing and the campus is beautiful.
