I just want to say i graduated from the academy in 07 and am a college student now. The quality of education is much better than many other high schools around, and it prepares you extremely well for college. Sports are okay, but i would highly recommend the school
My oldest child went here, and her two other siblings go to NFA and the third is planning on going to NFA. My oldest child had a terrible experience here and it was just simply put as bad education, only a few extra-curricular activities, and a lot of bullies and mean students. Almost every day my child would come and say that there was another fight in school today.
I go to school at the Acdemy and feel that the education level is high and that the school is great. The phone zone is a wonderful addition.
Not a bad school, but definately not that great. Headmaster is not liked by many students and some faculty, and feels the need to throw his weight around. Most teachers are pretty good, but like anywhere else there are a handful of ones to avoid. School is definately pretty concerned with academics and drama/music stuff, but pays little attention to athletics. Almost all sports teams (with the exception of golf) are very poor.
