There is much to be said about this school and the teachers and staff who run it. The K-8 portion of the school actually is called Irvine Home School. Peggy Frick the head teacher is amazing as is the environment and education your child will receive. It is an alternative school. You teach your child at home, but your child can also participate in weekly workshops at the school itself. At workshop the students have writing class, science, pe, and art. The teachers care about there students, are encouraging, and always there for guidance and reassurance. I have been involved with numerous other home schools and none of them can compare to Irvine Home School. If you have ever thought about home schooling this is the place to start and stay. There are field trips, great free curriculum, Ca state testing, away trips, workshops, and best of all loving teachers.
