This school is great. The Teacher works hard to make sure all the students are successful. They have some of the best test scores in the county.
My daughter was transfered to Craig to last year from Gwin Oaks and I must say what a difference between the 2 schools. The teachers at Gwin Oaks didn't seemed concerned about her education and I was often told to put her on medication which I didn't agree with at all. The first year at Craig she made the honor roll twice without any medication at all. Mrs. Ray is a very good principal and is truly concerned about all the kids education and encourages all of them to be the best they can be!
We LOVE Craig! We were a transfer from the Shiloh Cluster for the 07-08 school year and found that the teachers are great, the academic standard is high. They provide quality education along with a great environment. The teachers really work hard for the students to achieve.
I am more than in agreement with the many parents who have reviewed Craig Elementary before me - the principal is very difficult to work with. But, she is retiring this year and we all hope for a new and more open environment. The parents are still there and more than willing to participate, so we are all excited to see what comes next!
