Woodstock Elementary School

What a paradox! A well-appointed school with fine, motivated teachers, led by a wise and personable Principal, even the office staff treats parents like honored guests. The problem is the local anti-tax organization. We have little commercial property in town and every new house costs more in town services than it pays in taxes. We can't raise property taxes so it's a downward spiral for the schools. Many programs and all the aids have been cut and the last three Teachers of the Year may be fired as class size goes up to 30 and more. Don't move your family to Woodstock without investigating the latest stage of the decline.

I went to this school, starting in 1st grade, from the years 1999-2003. This was my favorite school and I have moved around alot. This school taught me many special and memorable things that I'll never forget. The teachers and staff were always so kind a friendly and eager to help anyone if they needed it. In this school your child will learn many achedemics such as some of the concepts of art, learn to read rythms and beats in music, learn to read and learn how libraries are set up and oredered,physical fitness in P.E., and more. Also, the students go on several field trips which all parents are able to chaperone if they please. Parents are also allowed to come in and help the class throughout the schoolday at least when I was here. Thanks for everything!
