We have been a part of Ames for seven years. All three of my children have gone or are going to Ames currently. You can't beat the dedication and professionalism of the teachers and the staff. The quality of academics as well as other programs are top notch. GT and other academic supplements are available and well-staffed. The teachers are dedicated to constantly learning new ways to effectively teach in the 21st century. My children are being completely equipped for middle school, high school, and life. /

Our son has almost completed his kindergarten year at Ames, and we're thrilled with the school. We enrolled him in the all-day kindergarten program, and he has excelled beyond our expectations. He is reading and writing well above grade level and he loves the learning environment the Ames community creates. We love the small class sizes and 'small town feel' of this school. Many parents, grandparents and retirees volunteer in the school, and new families are made to feel welcome and included right away. I couldn't imagine a better school for my kids. I think Ames Elementary is the best kept secret in Littleton Public Schools!

As a teacher at Ames Elementary, I could not speak higher of both my colleagues and the community itself. We devote ourselves to best practice as well as meeting our students needs to the best of our abilities! We are lucky to have small class sizes, allowing us to differentiate instruction for all students. The energy in the school is positive and we pride ourselves on being 'life long learners.' Ames is a great place to be!
