There's a waiting list to get accepted into Delta Place because they only serve up to 24 students at a time. Honestly, I believe this school saved my son's life. He has severe ADHD and has never done well in mainstream school. He got to the point at age 15 where was facing truancy charges and was suicidal. His first week there I could see changes, he smiled and actually LIKED school enough to walk 2+ miles when he missed the bus! WOW! They work on a point/level system where you earn privileges with your behavior, attitude, progression, etc. Most kids stay 12-18 months; moving on when they're truly ready & have a solid plan. I just can't say enough great things about Delta Place. Staff is firm but very caring and mindful of each student's issues. I would recommend it to any parent who's at the end of their rope!
