IF you are considering this school, STAY AWAY! This school only likes one type of kid. One that requires hardly any help and doesn't questions anything. If you question and fight for your child in this district, The teachers and the Principles will make your child life a living HELL. Me and my family have tried to fix the problems over the years. BUt all that happens is a 'ok will handle it'. It will never happen! IF you go to this distract I will give you the best piece of advice. SAVE EVERYTHING! IF you contact the this school, email them keep a running log and trust me you will be surprised how quick these people lie. I have over 3,000 emails of lies and broken promises. I left as soon as possible! I am trying to keep this from happening ever again to any other student.

I graduated from Hampton High School. I can tell you first hand that the school is basically college preparation. I may not have had an IEP, but I was able to move 'tracks' fairly effortlessly. It is because of several of these teachers that I am going into the teaching profession. I know that I had a problem with another student who would try to physically assault my friends and me, and the administration took the proper steps to avoid the confrontation from becoming something that would threaten my 'safe learning environment.' As with everything, you need to figure out how to handle problems that arise. Being calm and presenting clear information is essential when dealing with anyone, the administration included. You must be willing to educate them. You are your child's best advocate. They do not know your child as well as you do. Translate their needs to the classroom

Immature administration that is not willing to listen, works against not with the parents. Special education is almost non existence. It is the schools way or no way. Most teachers are not interested in helping special needs children.

They try to hold the kids down make them learn from their path not let the kids choosee their own path. Most of the teachers aren't very interested and are just awful.
