Kennedy is a great school. The teachers are dedicated to their students. They communicate regularly with parents. There are many activities in which the students can be involved. Although the open-concept design is not ideal, it truly shows the kind of classroom each teacher is running. By volunteering, a parent can see not only what is happening in his/her child's classroom, but can see what's happening in the coming grades. The open-concept has shown Kennedy teachers to care about their students, while having high expectations.

The Kennedy school building was designed in the 'open classroom' concept (there are no walls within the building', so students are hearing everything that is going on in the other classrooms. My son was so distracted by this that he couldn't get any of his work done. As a result of this, I removed him from the school and am homeschooling him now.
