While it's only a few weeks into his first year at RHS, what a great experience my son (15) is having there. Through a difficult time (divorce and cross country re-location), RHS is his third school in two years. The staff (teachers and admin) are >>happy people<<, live in the (small) community nearby and have gone out of their way to welcome him and get him involved. At the Football game last week, I was impressed to see participation from a large marching band, a lot of student volunteers and a great community turn-out...at a 9-12 school with only 500 students total! This small school also produced Colorado's 3A State Champion baseball team in 2006...and has a long heritage of achievements in sports. Wish I'd gone to RHS when I was a kid. If you can manage the commute (roughly 30 minutes drive to major employers)...you'll love Johnstown and RHS.
