My child is junior at Seven Lakes. He is an average student that gets the help he needs when he asks for it. Pre-AP classes were too much for him but academic classes are not enough. I wish there was something in between. There is a terrific sense of community at SLHS and Ms. Whitbeck and the office staff are terrific. In sophomore year he had three different science teachers in the first six weeks and just recently his pre-calc class was combined with the other pre calc class. There are now thirty students in his math class. This is all due to rapid growth. I am happy with most of his teachers but if your child can handle the pre and AP classes, go for it. Overall I am very happy with 7L but am a little nervous about core class sizes.

Great Teachers, Principals and other staff, who are dedicated to enhance learning and success in life skills.

Having attended a top private school before attending SLHS, I was at first skeptical of the quality of education at Seven Lakes when I started attending, but I was quickly proven wrong. The AP program is mind blowing and boasts some of the best teachers in the state. Parent involvement and safety are extraordinary and directly affect the high caliber of the academic programs. I take all AP and PreAP classes at this school and have had teachers that have changed my life. If you think of any particular extracurricular activity to join, you can rest assured that SLHS will have an award winning team or club to match it. The school is VERY ethnically diverse and has students from every part of the world. The first rate facility itself has an atmosphere that facilitates learning. I probably can't rave enough.
