All of my children started at Neidig. I moved my children to a Charter school because I felt they weren't being challenged enough. I would have to agree with most of the comments about the staff they aren't approachable at all and most of the time unprofessional. If they don't like you they treat your kids the same too. If your to supportive and try to make change they have aproblem with that also.

I am not pleased with neidig at all. The staff is lazy and if not lazy they have attitudes. one day their phone lines was down the whole day and there was no way for the parents to get in touch with any of the staff. Not good if it was an emergency or for the parents who work in austin.

I have been fairly pleased with this school, the staff and teachers. There is always room for improvement.
This is our first year at this school and have had no problems. My child s teacher is great. We have contact with the principal and vice principal on a daily basis because they are always out and about making sure that things are ok from what I have seen. This school is still growing there are changes that will need to be made from time to time but it's up to the parents to make sure that this school is meeting their families needs as far as teaching. The one thing that I have seen is there are to many parents that think it's up to the teachers raise these kids. Basic behavior problems that I have seen have been because the kids have not been taught at home how to behave. Then they become a disruption in the class to the kids that are being good and want to learn.
