I am a recent graduate of Glendale. I attended Bucknell University and will be entering medical school next year. I don't believe that Glendale afforded me with the educational background needed to do well in college. The biggest problem with Glendale is that they do not push students to work hard. I never studied in high school and got a 100% in nearly every class. I also disliked the like of AP credits available at Glendale.
I am a former student of Glendale School District. I am now a graduate of St. Francis with a B.S. in med, working towards my Masters. Glendale is a rural community. The administrative staff is a ring of politics. The education is for the most part poor, though there are some decent teachers. The courses are not up to par to prepare your child for college. Student punishment is not just Do not send your child here - it will be a nightmare.

As a student of Glendale I feel that the curiculum here is a good one. I feel that they, the teachers, try their hardest to do what they can to help better prepare us for the future. They are currently working very hard to help us bring up our test scores and trying to better prepare us for this chapter in our high school career. In my opinion they have done a very good job at it. The school environment is safe and secure and it makes for a wonderful learning environment also. I hope you don't let what people who have expressed as blame towards the school turn your decision. This school is amazing if you have the will power you can do anything and be prepared after graduating from it.
