I now have both my children at Grauer and they both love going to school each and every day. They also love their teachers and fellow students. On top of all of this they are both excelling academically and their standardized test scores have shown them to be well ahead of their contemporaries nationwide. I am very confident that they both are on track to get into the college of their choice.
I went to this school and did not learn much. I loved the small classes but I wish it would have prepared me for college.

When my child first started at Grauer he stated that he was finally with kids who wanted to learn. I am not sure what reviewers definition of rigorous is but if it means cramming as many AP classes you can into your high school experience, then Grauer is not for you. Grauer is for you if you: want to try new things and challenge yourself, take your studies seriously, and want to be taken seriously by faculty and administration. Not one school is going to be perfect for all students and you have to see what is best for you individual child's interest. My child insisted on Grauer and we do what we can to send him there.

Our experience has been first rate. Teachers are very engaged in our student s progress. The school leadership is compassionate. The overriding notion of creating a safe environment to learn is felt everywhere. There is a strong sense of unity across the grades- when our son had a broken arm, students of all grade levels pitched in to help him. Academic discipline is high, and test scores seem to be improving more than the corresponding grade level, each year we have attended.
