My daughter is a student at Timberline Middle School. She is on the student council as well. She always comes home with a positive attitude and good news about grades and school work. My daughter has told me she is very glad she goes to Timberline, because its a safe and positive learning enviroment with a splashes of fun everywhere around!
The principal as well as assistant principals are very involved and fun. The teachers are as a whole very good, with absolutely brilliant choir and english teachers, though there are a few very unreasonable teachers who lack teaching ability. Arts programs are very effective with iron chef contests held regularly for cooking classes and a great musical program in which Timberline singing groups have taken state regularly. The sports programs are pretty disappointing. While PE coaches are very good, the sports teams; basketball and tennis, are very small and exclusive. The third sport, track, is on the other side of the spectrum with such large groups that personal improvement is not often accomplished. At Timberline students feel safe and protected. Student council races are very exciting for everyone. And as a former student I had a great time and would highly recommend Timberline Middle School to any parent.
