I am also a parent of a middle school student. I agree with the firt posting, the principal of the Middle School is horrible. There is not enough parent involvement at all in this school. There is not enough playground equipment for the children to have something to do before school and during their 'free' lunch period. The children hang out in the parking lot. There is a lot of space to be utilized in this school for the children to have some sort of lunch activity.
As a parent I belive that teacher commitment at that school is admirable. I belive that the teachers are to be commended for their academic programs, eventhough the class sizes are increasing. The availability of music, sports, and other extracurricular activities is very good considering the size of the school. The only problem I see is that the principal needs to be more open to parent involvement and teacher input.
