Having graduated from ERHS in 2005, I'm unaware of the new marching band vs. sports drama, but honestly... it's school, there for it's academics. The variety of classes offered there range from language, to cars, to computer skills, photography, cooking, woodworking, etc. I think the school was awesome, it's crowded for a reason... because it's a good school! I live in the Twin Cities now, and trust me, ERHS is greatly taken for advantage.

As a student that graduated from Elk River High School, I believe this school is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and very helpful! We have a lot of school spirt! Many teachers put a lot effort into teaching the students in fun but educational ways. Obviously there are going be some teachers that aren't as good as others. I had such a great experience going to Elk River High School and I have memories I will never forget! It is always good to be an ELK! :)

i think kids get away to easily from things. a lot of times, the punishments are too little in thought.

This school has alot of room to improve. All they do is waste money on sports programs that are not getting anywhere! Oh yea just because we had 3 hockey players make it in to the nhl they still had to go to college. That really isnt the mind set for ERHS, sure the teachers want you to go to college soem of them actually care, but in the generality most teachers just wait for the 40,000 dollar paycheck at the end of the year and go well now I have summer vacation off how great is that! Teaching can be the hardest job in the world but only if you do it right. In conclusion i dread this school
