I think that Cerro Gordo is a very good school district for all age levels. The extracurricular activities are very good things for children to experince during their high school career!!
I am a graduate of Cerro Gordo and it is a great school. I don't beleive I could have received a better education anywhere else. I return to the wonderful teachers of Cerro Gordo for help with my college homework and I just interned at Cerro Gordo for a class. I think Cerro Gordo is a wonderful school with great teachers, programs, and community. I would recommend this school to anyone that asked.
What a great schoold district! This district has graduates who are doctors, lawyers, West Point graduates. This school also has a strong vocational program and a great record of students who excell in the trades. We have students who are farmers, executives in agricultural businesses, carpenters, welders and electricians. Cerro Gordo Schools have a very low rate of student behavior problems and a strong discipline program. The school has very caring teachers who go the extra mile to make sure their students succeed.
Not a bad school unless you have kids in the Jr. High. Jr. High staff are extremely unfair unless your child is in sports
