New to the school.. love the new principal.. love the new teachers.. so far so good.. go and check it out for yourself! Teacher student ratios are just right..and I love all the sports that they offer ... BTW, I agree with comment below. It IS usually the parents that AREN'T involved that are not satisfied. I have has a great experience so far with the other parents as well.
Bad comments usually come from the parents who are not involved. You get out what you put in. Ive been a parent at All Souls for nine years now. I agree that there are some changes and change is sometimes scary. As for the comment before me, the principle is now a female which tells me that this came from a previous parent that may be angry. As for fundraising, the school has ALWAYS offered a way to opt out. They always help and understand financial problems. My child has been on honor roll since kinder, has incredible test scores, and is proud to be student at All Souls. The school is small, and the kids feel like family. A great
Horrible experience, even more horrible school!! Do not consider this place. The principal looks like he just graduated from high school and blends in a little too well with the 8th graders. The teachers have unrealistic expectations for their students and expect all children to fit into this specific cookie cutter mold. They want, want, want (service hours, fundraisers, mass attendance, donations, etc.) but don't give, give, give. Their staff is skeletal (there isn't someone in the office at all times) and resources are poor. You're better off putting your child in public school. Sorry to disappoint if you're considering this school, but don't get duped like I did! (Because if you do, they'll keep your money, I guarantee you..)
While countless changes are in the works they are all positive. The school has a computer lab and new teachers will bring a positive energy that is greatly needed. Both of the principals are a joy and over all, great people. The parents, like in most schools have their problems with gossip and such and need to focus on the whole picture. I am a new parent and have had nothing but favorable things. While I am a working parent with limited resources, I get involved as much a possible and know how important it is to support our school, teachers, and staff. Change starts with us and one should remember that we are the first role models to our children and our actions speak for us. All Souls school is great and greater things will come!
