Everyone can complain as much as they would like, but the truth is, your high school experience is what you make of it. No matter how many endless opportunities Bradford provides for its students, it is up to each and every individual to sign up and get involved. A school is rated based on its environment, which is a direct reflection on those who are a part of its community. It is not the school that is lacking in a particular area, because as a student I have seen and participated in incredible activities and groups that continue to mold my future. But it is the lazy and dense students and parents who prefer to blame the school for their child s inadequate ability to become a part of a growing district.
I have been in the school on numerous occassions this last year and I don't believe that there is any discipline in the hallways. I have students walk right past staff who ask them to do things and in some cases they start a big rucous about being asked to put away their MP3 players. The dress code is obviously not being enforced either. I hope this year shows changes in the enforcement of all the rules!!
My daughter graduated in 2003...just barley and only by using the AIS program. She had an outstanding academic record up until Bradford. The school environment is bad, she never had problems with bullying until Bradford. They have to have security officers there and I think that is horrible! I know why!
I am a former student that went to Bradford High School. I graduated in 2005. I have been very successful in my time there. Without Bradford High School helping me I would of never got where I am today. I currently own one company while going to collage and planning on opening another one. Bradford is very good programs you just have to sign your kids up for them.
