The HIgh School at Red Lodge has a caring staff that works to help each student be successful. Parents, community members and the business community are all welcome and encouraged to take part in the educational process. Approximately 50% of the staff has advanced degrees and are committed to staying current with educational trends. All in all a wonderful school.
As a former student and current parent of a RLHS attendee I can say with confidence that RLHS is indeed a great school. The current high school principal is phenomonal and the majority of his teaching staff follows his excellent example. Their senior math instructor, MK, is particularly great as is their English/Drama instructor, JC. There seems to be a growing problem with the attitudes of the students. Perhaps lack of parental involvement? Perhaps all together unstable 'situations'. Whatever the case may be, the 'cliques' have multiplied over the last 5 years and the problems associated with social groups have increased considerably. As have the drug/violence related incidents. Nevertheless the staff nd faculty seem to be addressing and curbing as well as any district can be expected to. Overall? RLHS s a great place for your kids to learn, grow, and prepare for the world that awaits them.
High Quality programs. Great students and a wonderful principal. The math program is particularly good.
