My child attended Bauder. I was disappointed in the education he received. Most of what he learned he had learned in his previous school in another state. If this is quality education Fort Collins is way behind. The children have no acceptance of children from other areas. My child will attend a private school where hopefully people from other states are accepted and are not put down because they were not born here.
Bauder is an amazing school with a high level of community involvement. The teachers are well-educated, creative, and fun. The small school feel and seperation of age groups into pods makes it a safe and age appropriate environment for all of the children attending. The principal is always available and interested in parent imput and thoughts and willing to try different steps in educating the children. I have been so impressed by this school and am proud to have two daughters that will attend here! Don't let the small size scare you - this is a great school!
I have had 4 children go through Bauder and still have two attending. I love this school and the teachers. Many of whom have been teaching for years! And I mean years two of them were my teachers. They still are the best and love the kids and what they are doing. I have never seen a tight knit environment. My kids love to go to school everyday. There are teachers who will stay after school and help even if they are not their teacher. I love going in there and seeing everyone they make you welcome and part of the family. I would not want my kids to go anywhere else! I feel very blessed to have this school in our lives!
I have two children in Bauder Elementary. My children enjoy learning in a positive atmosphere where the teachers are always doing their best, and reaching beyond. During all the grades so far, my children have received individual attention, and I as a parent have had a continuos communication with their teachers. Great school with exciting art and music programs encouraging active parent-involvement!
