Brighton High School

I think BHS is an awesome school. I have had my children in the Brighton schools since kindergarten. The teachers are very supportive of all students. One of my children is LD and had a rough start in Middle School but a great experience in BHS. They even checked on him after he graduated. After talking to friends in other school districts (they are unhappy) I am very glad we are in Brighton.

I think BHS is a terrific school. I have had my kids in 3 school districts and this is by far the best.

this school is horrible, theyre new teaching style is giving a student a test and based on what questions he/she missed you get certain worksheets to do while the 'teacher' sits and sends personal e-mails)

I am not quite sure that those writing these reviews are who they say they are. As a parent I can tell how dissapointed I am in the High School. When our family moved to this area our decision was influnced by the great reputation of BHS. Well, good reputation is completley false. Our experience has been horrible. The school is filthy, few teachers care about the students, the board of ed, a joke. The students are disrespctful with a spoiled disposition. Unless you are a 4.0 student teachers and counselors give the attitude that you will be a failure in life. They offer nothing for the average student. Over the past year I have been questioning parents and students about the BHS experience...the results are less than favorable. On the positive side, the music program is outstanding.
