i was a student at bret harte. they seem too invovled in sports to even bother with the average student, like me. i wasn't prepped in college choices and never informed of other options after graduating. there seemed to be a few teachers that weren't good at teaching or teachers that weren't qualified to teach but did anyways. there are some good teachers like randall and oliver, but other than that not many. too much into agriculture for me... nothing for the average kid.
BHHS has a solid commitment to quality education. Drama and music programs are well developed. Teachers and administrators do a good job of keeping parents informed about school issues and student progress. One of the lowest dropout rates in CA. Nice kids, nice campus, great choice for motivated young people.

Just graduated Bret Harte recently, and I gotta say it was an overall good experience. I had no problems with any of the teachers, they are all extremely nice and will do everything it takes for you to succeed. Not being in any extracurricular activities, I can't say much about that subject. what I've witnessed, everything goes as planned and everyone enjoys it. Also, being an alumni and not having my parents ever come to the school really, I don't have much to say about parent involvement. I always felt safe when at school, so that was never really an issue, I also never got in trouble with the school once, so not much to say on their disciplinary actions. However, the only gripe I have is the tardy system. Every teacher has their own way to deal with tardiness, ranging from getting a tardy if you're not stting
