My child is out of this school and I am happy. students are the most disrespectful children I have ever seen, there are absolutely no consecuences for innapropiate behavior. My child is happy now.
Mrs. Delacruz is trying to implement new programs to get kids more involved in the school and their work. This seems to be a good change; we'll see. This year they adapted an A/B schedule which lengthens class time but seems to have lessened homework which, for my second child going thru this school, is a good thing.
People might say my school is at the bottom of the charts but its not really the teachers fault, its the students. i see it everyday in the classrooms. Many teachers offer help but the kids want to go hame and be with their friends or [feel]embarrased. We might have the most arreset or most fights, but when it comes to big test we do what we have to do. Benjamin Stoddert has had the highest MSA in Maryland, highest County Assessements in the county, since I've been in student an thats since 05. So this school has things we need to improve on but were still growing.
