Fort Bowman Academy Chater School is a wonderful school it is not a school were any child would be consider just a number. My children attend FBA and I was very pleased.
My child attended this school for 7 yrs. She excelled the first 5 yrs while in K thru 5th but it seemed like after the kids hit middle school and high school the teaching or lack there of changed. Its like the kids were just turned loose on their own. I was really disappointed. My child no longer goes there.
Fort Bowman use to be a really great school, a school where you could go to work and leave your kids knowing that they were in good hands. They had a no tolerence for bullying and the curriculum was very diverse. My daughter had spanish in kindergaten, but know the school has lost sight of who they are and what they stood for. I beleved in Fort Bowman and was one of the many parents who were at the board when they were threatening to close the school down. I have not been satisfied at all with the way things have been ran this year. It is very unorganozed. They change there calender every week and my child can no longer feel comfortable around her peers there. I am very disappointed with Fort Bowman and my child will no longer attend there.
My kids get a great education.They do get the one on one with the teacher if they need it.I love this school.
