We're very pleased with Metro it was our son's 1st year there this past school year. He grew socially, behaviorally and academically. We loved his teachers as well. Metro has been a great fit for our son.

My son attended Metro from 2nd (when they opened) until he graduated. Based on the extra time and effort taken by both the teaching and Andy Cook my son has been placed in all honors classes in the first two years of high and will be starting duel-enrollment in his junior year. Metro has taught my son self-motivation as well as desire to want to succeed. He has plans to attend MIT which was largely supported by his teachers in the ALPS program.

I've been at Metro ..since I was in 2nd grade Im in 7th grade now .... the school has absolutely great academics... the thing that I hate is the uniform policy. the have rules on everything . I hate it so much. We have rules on the undershirt we wear . It can't be any color you want ... it has to be either white or navy blue...I think that -that rule is just ridiculous. We have no way to express ourselves, in anyway, shape, or form. I swear , next they are going to put rules on what kind of colors girls' accecories are. To me there academics is awesome ..but everything else isnt.

I am a first time parent at Metro. My son is in 6th grade and both he and I were excited about the new experience. The Principal that was new was fabulous. He really transition my family into the school system with ease. My son excelled in his classes and he was doing great. It all began to take a change for the worst when parents received a letter stating that the new principal was being transfered for the previous principal. There was a concern that I had regarding the school's homework policy where I emailed his teacher. My son had 12 pages of homework that technically was 24 pages front and back that was to be done over the weekend and due Monday . Mrs. H. was very unprofessional so I contacted the principal the same behavior continues today. It was a matter of don't step on the teachers toes.
