From top to bottom one would be hard pressed to find a more active, engaging and successful school experience. The teachers are well trained, motivated and fully engaged with their students. Some offer homework clubs a rarity in today s schooling. In that regard all teachers will work with the parents to insure each child - your child, has every opportunity to succeed. Equally supportive are the parents...at open house night (s) or with special events participation appears to be +90%. Regarding the cliquish nature? Over time many parents become close friends as our kids go through the grades and grow up. Its only natural people get tight with one another but to say the parents are exclusionary - its NOT the case one just needs to volunteer, say hello or get off the sidelines. Bottom line, Sundahl will give your child will have a quality educational experience.

I love this school. The teachers and staff are the excellent and give so much to our kids. They offer plenty of extra activities as my wednesday folder is full of opportunities. Excellent parent involvement.

The school is fantastic. The staff is awesome. We choose to live in this neighborhood because of the school and we have not regretted it. The neighborhood is a little too affluent and some of the parents are a little snobby but as a whole there is a place for every kid and parent. The PTA is really not snobby all you have to do is volunteer and they would love to have you.....It always seems to me it is the same people doing the same things because other parents are not asking where they can help.

The quality of the teachers and staff at Sundahl are excellent; I cannot praise them higher! I will concur with the other posts - it is true that the parent organizations are very 'clique-ish' and not very welcoming; as a new parent to the school 4 years ago, I gave up trying to participate due to other parents determined to control the leadership. The school is in a fairly affluent area, and 'status' seems to be the main theme with many parents, though you will meet (thankfully!) some down-to-earth parents as well. The music program is a plus, but other extra-curricular activities are basically non-existant. Overall, my son's experience at Sundahl has been positive, but it's because we have been extremely involved in our son's education.
