Folsom Hills is set in a tight community and is a very safe school. This is the good news. It has one of the only Spanish Magnet programs in the district and many other great activities supported by the PTA and parents with money. That said; it is a place in which the parents may be a bit too involved. It is a community that snubs its nose at any new community members that don't meet the FH standards. The parents would like to run the school and emails run abound when they don't like what they see even if they do not know the whole story or how a state budget works. In short; entitled parents are teaching their kids 'entitlement'. The GATE program is laughable. The playground is only now being updated. In short; what may have started as a great school years ago, teaches to the STAR test

The school offers very little extracurricular activities, focus only on the STAR testing scores, and parenting involvement is average. There's hardly none field trips, and if your child is a gifted student, this school has nothing to offer .

I graduated from this school a few years ago, and I thought it was great. I was happy to go here. The teachers were great, and the way the school operated was outstanding. Overall Great school. I highly recommend it.
