This school is amazing! i love it. It is so much better than lakes. Our school has so many great athletes and great all around students. Go Antioch Sequoit football! 11-0 baby!
It has been a few years since I attended A.C.H.S. While I feel they had, and still have their share of drug problems, my major problem is their lack of a great curriculum. I attended A.U.G.S. where I was an honor roll student and as soon as I reached high school my grades started to plummet. I have spend the last few years trying to play catch up and after I finish college (I'm going for my education degree) I hope I can better prepare my students for these 4 tough years of their life.
My second son will graduate from ACHS this year. We are impressed with the school and the principal's hands on involvement. I have been on two parent groups and can attest to the school's commitment to scholastics with many award winning activities as well as an aggresive, proactive drug policy. We choose to live in Antioch because it offers a small town atmosphere with all the benefits of a larger, more expensive school district.
I am a graduate of Antioch Community High School, and I must say that this school hardly prepared me for the challenges of college. I never had to attend class or do all of my homework assgnments in oreder to get an above average grade.
