I am so impressed with the principal of this school. She takes immediate action and solves a students problem 'now' and 'not later'. My grandson struggled with math and after the principal suggesting and 'doing' he came home from his new math class and was so excited he could not stop talking about what he had learned in just the first class. He was almost depressed with math until this point, felt defeated and did not know his math. I wish the principal could have seen and heard him when he came home school on Monday.....it was exciting even for a Grandparent! Thank You Principal! Your sure doing your job!
This school is the nicest school I had seen a child go to but I do fear not that sanitary. Over all this is a wonderful school for children to attend!!=)
They have a robust AVID program, and ASB in 05/06 had great teachers. It's hard to find out about extracurricular activities, they dont' post it well. They do have classes for the higher level students who all seem to try hard and actually do their work. They have a phone message system where the teacher can leave the parents a voice mail at home to give dailly progress.
