My son graduated as Valedictorian of Cherokee High School, 2009. His four years at Cherokee were superb in all aspects relating to support, guidance, concern, and content from both teachers and administrative staff. Cherokee County schools have much to offer students, and they may make of it what they will, as did my son. I am glad that I made the deliberate move from the south end of the county to this district. The opportunity for achievement exists in all schools, but not all have such a loyal group of educators necessary to execute and promote principals that enable young men and women to excel on the basis of merit and achievement as does Cherokee High.

I recently moved out the Cherokee School district and had to go to Woodstock. I can honestly say that Cherokee High is way better academically and the teachers great!

Cherokee High test results were almost identical to Sequoia High school..a little in higher in some things. Cherokee High school test results are almost 20% more than the state average. A great school with excellent test scores, teachers and students. There are no drug problems or gangs. As with any school, if your child goes looking for drugs, I am sure they could find them, but that goes for all schools. This school has great kids with values.
