We moved from out of state and I am very happy with Gregg Middle School. My daughter is on the honor roll, principles are wonderful and there are plenty of activities to keep them busy.

My son is in 6th grade gate and we are really happy with the team of teachers. They return emails quickly and seem to really care about the kids. I do feel, however, that they give too much homework. Gifted children don't need more work, they need different work. My son had to quit soccer because he had so much homework. I want him to be well rounded, but he barely gets to play outside...He even has weekend homework. I would also like more school wide functions, such as the school dance they had in September. I think more school functions would promote a more community feel.

I have been dissatisfied with this school. The teachers do not keep in contact with parents. They only e-mail you when the parent e-mails them. No encouragement, no motivation, no after school programs. Kids who have a disabilies the teachers just don't care. No caring teachers, only seem to want a paycheck. If your heart is not in teaching all children, maybe they do not need to be teachers. Teachers are loving, kind and willing to work with children. This school needs a lot of improving from the Principal on down to the teachers
