Keaau has always been my school. The teachers her well most of them are great teachers. I learned alot from them and im still learning. I do my best and if its not perfect then thats ok with me. I will always be a keaau cougar and i dont care what people say about us. Because people who hates us doesnt know what kind of people we are. There are lots of great students, teachers and staff.

KHS has come a while from being the dilapidated-educational system it was. Many, many of my peers do NOT have any motivation but luckily a few of my teachers do. Instead of choosing to go with the flow the other kids had set up, they choose to enforce learning. Not all of the teachers by far are the best at teaching, but there are a few that stand out and I'm lucky that I am in their classes. KHS does not have the best teachers by a long shot, and there are few that are good and do not favorite, but the students that go there don't make it any easier to fully teach a productive lesson either.

Keeau High School is in the midst of a supportive community, but lacks the cooperation needed between the faculty and parents. Some experiences as a parent have left much to be desired, and has caused concern on my part. My recently graduated daughter is severely lacking in the skills needed in college, and will need to start from the bottom. I hope for much improvement in the future. We need more support at Keaau High School!
