In August of 2004 there were issues brought up that were on both sides of the fence. I find myself wondering where some of it was coming from and am reminded that some people are 'part of the problem' and others go in and help 'take care of problems.' Every school in this county has its share of issues. if they claim they don't then they are looking at the world through rose colored glasses. My now MS daughter spent k-5 at CCES where she thrived! She thrived because she was pushed at home, pushed by her teachers and most of all because she pushed herself. CCES has the best interest of every student at every learning level at heart and if you do not belive that then I challenge you to provide occasions where they did not work hard for your child. 'It takes a village!'

I would like to have a list of field trips at the beginning of the year so that parents can request time off to attend. We need more sport activities for elementary school kids. Soccer for instance the girls at the school don't want to play baseball or basketball all the time. We need more choices.

I have been pleased with this school. My 13yo, and 9yo have been here for 2 years now. Being in the military exposes us to alot of different styles of teaching, and I have to say that this has been an extreamly pleasant environment.

I have been apart of this county for 26 years and have seen this school go from 200-500 students. Our school has not been on the Needs improvement list, in fact this year it has made its 4th or 5th year and was labeled school of excellence. We could not have a better principal who has made every effort to support every student. So let't not put our own personal agendas on this website. We welcome anyone to visit our school and judge for themselves.
